Life Lately: In Iphone Photos

I painted my nails this awesome light greyish purple colour then added polka dots with a toothpick.  Needs some practice, but I managed to make them look pretty cool!

Had a mad pancake craving at 8pm after dinner one night so I made a small one.

The view from the Discovery centre in Stratford where some of our secondary rehearsals have been held.  Beautiful view of the river.

A massively delicious salad I enjoyed after a yoga class last week.  It was called the Bikini Salad.. Cute name, right?

An interesting statue outside the discovery centre.  I should find out what it means…

Working hard or hardly working?  I feel like I’m at summer camp for professional actors.. and I’m loving it.  Organic red wine, anyone?

I made the “Cozy Millet Gravy Bowl” from Oh She Glows.  It’s amazing.  Vegan.  And so satisfying.

I managed to squeak in 5 miles on Saturday.  The most i’ve run since my 5 mile race in October.  I’m feeling the running itch again friends, and I’m loving it!

And me.  Just a slightly tired, post run, totally contented smile from the end of my week.  Life really is wonderful.

I am so thankful this week.  For my health, my strength, my determination.  For my luck.  For the wonderful people in my life.  Near and far.

Thank you for reading.  You make me smile too.

We Wear Our Sunglasses At Night.

The Wedding Singer is closed!  We have been doing this show since October 25th, so it’s crazy that I don’t have to do the running man every night anymore.  Our dressing room did a little photo installation with a sexy pair of sunglasses I had kicking around from Urban Outfitters.
Here I am in my “All About the Green” Costume

Here’s Melanie dressed as Cher.

Chelsea in her “Stripper” gear.

Katherine in her “airline stewardess” outfit.

Kristin dressed as “Linda”.  Also, the hottest lady ever.

Me dressed as Cyndi Lauper.

Chelsea rocking as side pony.

Simple Happiness

Imagine if you could run along this trail every day, all year.  You would be in perfect shape, wouldn’t you?  And you’d be perfectly happy, right?  And you’d have no excuse for skipping a workout because you couldn’t shovel the car out of the driveway.  Or the roads were closed because of an ice storm when it was -40C.But if that was the case, this view wouldn’t be as special.  Today’s three mile run wouldn’t be as memorable.  Because my time in this sweet, small, beachy town is ending.  This week in fact.  And summer is coming to a close.  So today, I am thankful.  For views like this.  For being able to run at all.  For dancing on a stage for a living.  For summer breezes.  For small victories.  And simple happiness.

Easy 3 Miles

Living near the lake provides some stellar running trails and great views. I ran an easy three miles in 38 minutes, with lots of stopping for pictures and admiring the views. I have totally caught the running bug.
